Ammend the Wages Act

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Representative Remuneration Act'
(2) This Act shall take effect upon the start of the next session of Congress

2 - Reasons

To encourage representatives to make good and reasonable acts to benefit the people of Redmont and make house of representatives active again as well as give them motivation to contribute to the community.
The Representatives also spend a reasonable time to make cases and hence are deserving enough to be paid.

3 - Salaries and Clarifications.


(1) For every bill a Representative Proposes he shall be paid 100 dollars.
(2) For every bill which is approved to be a law , the representative shall be given 300 dollars.
(3) The above amount can be changed by a ammendment of this law.
(4) Payments are made according to the time zone of the individual dispensing the funds.
(5) Bills made before this act shall not get paid , any bill made and passed after this act is passed , shall only get paid.

4. Role of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Congressial Staff

(A) Role of the Speaker


(1) Bills approved by the speaker as reasonable bills / bills with intent to help the citizens shall only get paid ( this is done to prevent exploitation of the act)
(2) The Speaker has all the rights to completely decline the bill from getting paid.
(3) The Representatives can pass a motion to override the decision of the speaker (to deny the bill from getting paid) and by majority of atleast 6 representatives, House of Representative could override the decision of speaker (to deny the bill from getting paid) and make it possible to get the representative (who made the specific bill) to claim the money.
(4) This above process shall be known as 'Vote against Unfair Remuneration'

(B) Role of the Congressial Staff

(1) The congressial staff needs to pay the representatives the fair amount of money as given above.
(2) This money shall be deducted from the Legislative balance.
(3) The Congressial Staff needs to send the proof of the payment to the Speaker and the Representatives.
