Enhance Public Healthcare​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Public Option Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) The medicare plugin is susceptible to fraud.
(2) Access to Healthcare is a basic right.

3 - Terms
(1) All medical goods sold by the Department of Health shall be free to all citizens of Redmont who purchase their medical goods from a Department of Health employee in a Department of Health facility.
(2) All medical goods sold by the Department of Health through chestshops shall be capped to a price of $10 per item. These items are not being made free to prevent resale abuse.
(3) The existing Medicare program shall be abolished.
