How do you plan on using your grant funding?
Robinhood Brokerage Services LLC is developing a secure, semi-automated order-routing service for TSE. Customers will submit their own securities buy and sell orders through our website, and Robinhood will transmit those authorized orders through the TSE API. TSE will retain custody of customer funds and assets. The project is focused on building and testing this technology; we will not begin brokerage activity until we have the required incorporation and license approvals.
Proposed use of funds:
- $75,000 reserved for the Class C paid-up capital requirement, subject to DoC confirming that grant funds can qualify as eligible equity capital.
- $5,000 to purchase the TSE API key.
- $25,000 for website and API order-routing development and testing.
- $20,000 for transaction records, reconciliation, and reporting tools.
- $15,000 for security controls, access permissions, audit logs, and failure testing.
- $10,000 for licensing and compliance review, customer terms and disclosures, and launch documentation.
