Enhance commerce and grant opportunities within Oakridge​

The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:

1- Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Oakridge Business Opportunity Act'.
(2) This act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This act has been authored by: Head of Commerce lcn.
(4) This act has been co-sponsored by: Head of Residence and Mayor Yeet_Boy.

2- Reasons
(1) Create incentives for new businesses to open in Oakridge.
(2) Create incentives for businesses to be active within Oakridge.
(3) Create incentives for the creation of apartments in Oakridge.

3- Bonus Grants
(1) A new type of grant shall be established, known as 'Bonus Grants'
(2) These differ from the grants already in place in that they incentivize businesses that have already opened to be active within Oakridge.
(3) The process to get a bonus grant is the same as a normal grant.

4- New Business Grant
(1) The New Business Grant will provide financial assistance of $1000 to support the establishment and development of a new business within Oakridge.
(2) Eligibility to be eligible for the New Business Grant:
(a) The applicant must own/rent commercial property in Oakridge.

5- Active Business Bonus Grant
(1) The Active Business Bonus Grant will provide a $2000 bonus to active businesses within Oakridge.
(2) The applicant may apply for this bonus every 4 weeks.
(3) Eligibility to be eligible for the New Business Grant:
(a) The applicant must own/rent commercial property in Oakridge.
(b) The applicant must own an active and established business inside Oakridge.

6- Apartment Bonus Grant
(1) The Apartment Creation Bonus Grant will provide a $1000 per apartment bonus to landlords in Oakridge who create and maintain apartments on Main Street commercial plots.
(2) Apartment requirements:
(a) 60m² area (60 blocks floorspace)
(b) A bed, crafting table, furnace, and double chest
(3) The applicant may reapply every three months for this grant. The apartments must be maintained the entire time.
