Amend the Aventura Property Regulations Act​

The citizens of Aventura, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Aventura, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'No More Unanimous Vote for Exemptions Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored and sponsored by: Councillor RealImza

2 - Reasons
(2) Compared to actions such as amending the Constitution of Aventura or removing a town official, which only require a supermajority vote, requiring a unanimous vote for property exemptions is ridiculous.
3 - Amendments
The Aventura Property Regulations Act shall be amended as follows:

18- Exemptions
(1) The Town Council, through by a simple majority vote unanimous vote, and with approval from the Mayor, has the power to issue and revoke exemptions and extensions for building regulation and legal compliance.
(2) The Office of Development shall record exemptions and shall communicate them to the Department of Construction and Transportation.
