To
Regulate the proportion of House and Senate seats in relation to each other.
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Nexus Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted when there is next an alteration to congressional seat numbers.
2 - Reasons
(1) The word nexus means to connect two or more things. In this act we will be linking the amount of seats in the Senate to the Number of Seats in the House of Representatives.
3 - Nexus Clause
The House shall have an odd number of seats (rounded up) that is double the amount of seats in the Senate.
