Update the Willow Business District Rules and Guidelines​

The residents of Willow, through their elected representatives in the Commission and the force of law ordained to that Commission by the people through the Willow Charter, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I - PRELIMINARIES

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the 'New WBD Policy Bill'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by PaintballSteven.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sujal1048J


2 - Reasons
(1) The current system for the business district restricts which types of businesses may operate.
(2) Some business district buildings go unused and remain empty.
(3) This act will encourage new types of business in the Willow business district.


PART II - The New Guidelines

3 - Rental Period Standards

(1) All plots shall be rented for 200 DC dollars for a time of 14 days.
(2) Each plot will get 2 extensions.
(3) Any future WBD plots must follow the standard 14 day rental period and the 200 dollar rental cost.


4 - Rental Rules
(1) The renter of a property is only allowed to rent 1 WBD property at a time.
(2) A renter must either sell goods from a chestshop or show signs of actively using the building for a business. This is at the discretion of the Willow Department of Development.
(3) A renter may not grow or sell buffs at or from the property.
(4) A renter must keep their shop in stock if operating a chest shop.


5 - Evictions
(1) For most rules the renter will be given x amount of days to resolve.
(2) The following chart applies to all Willow Business District Plots.

(3) Evictions are to be carried out by the Willow Department of Development.

6 - Businesses and Chest Shops
(1) Types of Shops and Businesses Allowed
(a) Willow Farming Theme
(i) A chest shop that is tangentially related to farming. This is at the discretion of the Willow Department of Development.
(b) Willow Business Theme
(i) A business that does not use a chest shop but sells a service or an experience. (ex Restaurant, Law Firm, etc.)
