The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “National Census Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted on June 1st, 2022.

2 - Reasons
- The Department of State in accordance with the Constitution is tasked with carrying out censuses, these are not being done regularly and many citizens are failing to partake. This skews national data and leads to inaccurate results.
- By carrying out censuses on a regular basis, three times throughout the year the government and server administration will be able to track the player base and statistics relating to them.
(1) The Department of State in accordance with the constitution is tasked with conducting censuses. Three times a year during the following months: February 1st - 14th, June 1st - 14th & October 1st - 14th, the Department of State will be tasked with carrying out the National Census.
(2) during this 14-day period citizens within the Commonwealth of Redmont who meet the following:
- 24+ hours of playtime in last 30 days
- joined the server 2 weeks prior to the census period beginning
will be obligated under law to complete the National Census within the 14-day period.
(3)Failure to complete the National Census will result in citizens being charged with breaching the following law:
“Failure of National Obligation”
- The act of failing to complete the National Census within the 14-day allotted time period or submitting false information in the form. Per Offence: $1,000 Fine.

(2) The Department of State will post this Census form in #gov-announcements for citizens to fill out, this will be on the 1st day of the respective census month. Citizens will have 14 days to complete the form, on the 14th and last day of the Census period the Form will be closed.
(3) All Census Results will be made viewable in a National Archive thread bar questions 1, 11, and 12 which will be deemed as classified and may be released at the Government of the day's discretion.
