Waive Liability of the Government
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Murder Quick Fix v2 Act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) The Act has been co-sponsored by: Speaker Goldblooded
(4) This Act has been authored by: Vice President Nacholebraa
2 - Reasons
(1) When the government fixed the classification of murder charges they failed to waive the liability of multiple months worth of criminal records.
(2) While the individuals did not get their court date, they could still have fought the murder charge within an appeal to the DOJ.
3 - Terms
(1) Ex-post Facto will not apply to the misclassification of Murder from a criminal offense to a summary offense.
(2) The Government shall award a refund of the charges should an individual wish to request it via ‘support’ ticket through the DLA.
(a) Charges are limited to a 4 month period beginning Nov 8, 2023 going back to July 8, 2023.
(3) Criminal Records will not be cleared unless the individual files an expungement request with the courts as the individuals did still commit the crime and did not appeal the charge with the Justice Department.
