Where is your company based? Reveille
What industry does your company serve? Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services
What grant are you applying for? Innovations Grant
What problem does your business solve and what makes you different from competitors? My business solves the ultimate problem that players have on DC... other players.
We protect those in need of protecting for a simple fee based on the length of time we are need and the amount of people we will be detailed too.
We are different from our other competitors because we will be hiring people from a wide range of background, allowing for people to have second chances if they have been denied from the Police Force or even regular work.
How do you plan to generate revenue to scale up your business and is your long-term vision for the company? I plan to gain contracts with some of the most powerful people on the server, I will do this by doing favours and making good friends to help us grow.
If possible, I will be presenting a government contract to whomever I need to speak to, this will involve round the clock protection for people of power within the government.
My long term vision is that all players will be able to come to us for protection when they are in need, whether they pay us or we provide some pro bono assistance for them.
What is you and your team's experience and expertise? My experience in game is many hours of PVP and aim training, I have played on many servers that use bows, swords and even guns as a form of weapon so I am no noob when it comes to protecting and serving.
I also have a fair amount of knowledge in strategic thinking, whether that involves combat or running a business, I know how to do it.
How will you use the grant funds, and what impact do you expect them to have on your business? I plan to use the grant funds on planning out and printing the HQ for our business which will be located in the skyscraper area of Reveille, it will feature offices, multiple armouries and a large vault for players to seek refuge.
I will also be setting up a number of safe-houses throughout Reveille, which will include weapons, armour and a vault for players to stay underground if they are being hunted or attacked.
