Amend the Legislative Standards Act.

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Mitch McConnell Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reason
(1) To spark public interest by having public debates about important bills.
(2) To make sure important bills and motions don't get rushed through congress and are actually considered properly.
(3) Mr President, you will not fill that supreme court vacancy.

3 - Filibuster
(1) The following term shall be added to the Legislative Standards Act "13 - Congressional Motions"
(15) Any Senator may motion for a Filibuster on any bill or motion that is currently in the senate such a motion requires a second from any other senator. If 1/3 of all senators vote aye on a Filibuster of a bill or motion, it will be considered under debate. The voting period of a bill or motion under debate shall be halted until 2/3 of all senators agree to end the debate. Alternatively, if only 51% of all senators agree to end the debate, a final in-game session will be held after which the bill is no longer considered under debate. The in-game session may only end if 2/3 of all senators agree to stop the session or if no senator has spoken in VC or in-game while in the physical senate chamber for 10min.
