Establish Midterm Special Elections​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Midterm Special Elections Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) Many new Representatives leave office for a variety of reasons, and holding several small special elections needlessly burdens the public and fosters voter apathy.

3 - Terms
(1) Halfway through the term of Representative there shall be a special election to fill all existing vacancies in both the House of Representatives and Senate if any exist. If no vacancies exist there shall not be a special election. This shall happen automatically without the need to be motioned for.
