Lower the fine for Bank Robbery​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Lower the Bank Robbery Fine Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative TheReal42Person.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sen. Yeet_Boy and Sen. zlost.

2 - Reasons
(1) The fine for bank robbery was raised to $4,000 when the bank was changed to give more money.
(2) The bank reward has since been lowered significantly, but the fine remained high.
(3) The bank still yields more money than it originally did with the $1,000 fine, so there must be a compromise.

3 - Terms
Section 4 of the Trespassing and Theft Offenses Act shall be amended as follows:
“(2) Bank Robbery (Original: ElainaThomas29 - Apr 13, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of trespassing specifically within the bank’s vault. This crime overrides Trespass.
Per Offense: $4000 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time”

to:

“(2) Bank Robbery (Original: ElainaThomas29 - Apr 13, 2021)
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of trespassing specifically within the bank’s vault. This crime overrides Trespass.
Per Offense: $2500 Fine + 10 Minutes Jail Time”
