How do you plan on using your grant funding?
We plan to use the government grant funding primarily to enhance the core operations and growth of ISFED Academy. The funding will be directed towards expanding our educational offerings, including the development of new specialized courses on topics like electoral law, governance, and civic engagement, tailored to both local and global needs. This will include hiring subject matter experts to design and review course content, ensuring that it aligns with international standards. Additionally, we will use part of the funding to support our research grant programs and fellowships, providing financial support and mentorship to early-career researchers focused on democratic governance, electoral integrity, and social justice. Lastly, we will utilize the grant to strengthen our internal capacity, hiring new staff to support the growing demand for our programs and services, while providing professional development opportunities for our current team. This holistic approach will allow ISFED to contribute significantly to democratic development and the strengthening of governance systems both locally and internationally.
