Bill: Draft Lethal Force is Bad Act

to
Repeal the outdated and draconian Lethal Force is Cool Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be titled as the “Lethal Force is Bad Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative Jesseya aka Kat.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative Gwiis.

2 - Reasons
(1) The police nor DPA staff should ever be judge, jury and executioner.
(2) Cuffing someone who is in the process of disrupting an event is less disruptive than starting a shoot-out with the DPA or police.
(3) The Lethal Force is Cool Act is unconstitutional, it conflicts with §32.7 and §32.9 of the constitution. Which states that rights cannot be withheld on the basis of criminality, and that every citizen has the right to a fair trial respectively.
(4) The Act contains various spelling and grammatical mistakes and reflects a lack of professionalism in our government.

3 - Repeal
(1) The “Lethal Force is Cool Act” will be repealed in its entirety.
