COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT




A BILL TO

AMEND THE INTER-BRANCH COMMUNICATION ACT




The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment


(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Inter-Branch Communication Amendment Act’

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Representative EATB.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Senator xRsp_.

(5) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Inter-Branch Communication Act

2. Reasons and Intent

(1) To remove redundant role mentions within Section 3(2) of the Act. Mentions of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, President of the Senate, and Deputy President of the Senate are legally unnecessary, as these officials are almost always Representatives or Senators.

(2) To grant Deputy Secretaries access to the #congress-cabinet channel, recognising that they may assist department management and administrative operations on behalf of Secretaries and require direct participation in inter-branch coordination.

PART II — AMENDMENTS

3. Amendments to Congress-Cabinet Channel Access


(1) Section 3(2) of the Inter-Branch Communication Act shall be amended as follows:

"(2) The following officials shall have access to the #congress-cabinet channel:
(a) The President of the Commonwealth;
(b) The Vice President of the Commonwealth;
(c) All Cabinet Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries;
(d) All Executive Officers, including the Chief of Staff, Executive Advisors, and Press Secretary;
(e) All Ambassadors;
(f) All members of the Federal Reserve Bank Board of Governors;
(g) The Speaker of the House of Representatives;
(h) The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives;
(ig) All Representatives;
(j) The President of the Senate;
(k) The Deputy President of the Senate;
(lh) All Senators."
