Amend the Economic Standards Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Government Trade Payouts Act'​

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.​

(3) This Act has been authored by Representative girlfailcoded.​

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative girlfailcoded.​

2 - Reasons

(1) Trades, as of the authoring of this bill, illegally take money from the DCGovernment account rather than the currently authorized GovEducation account.​

(2) Trades are a fundamental part of DemocracyCraft’s economy, and it cannot be expected of the Department of Education to be responsible for funding payouts that are built into these trades.​

(3) This bill would only legalize what is already the currently accepted system, rather than change where payouts are collected from.

3 - Amendments

(1) A new section, Section 6, shall be amended to the Economic Standards Act:​

6 - Trade Payouts​

(1) Payouts for applicable trades and professions will be sourced from the DCGovernment account.​

(a) “Payouts” refers to any income generated from performing a task associated with the aforementioned trade or profession.​

(2) Any increase to payouts or creation of new trades and/or professions that require payouts must have approval from congress.​
