Firearms Act​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Firearms Act 2020”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Firearms Act
(1) To own a firearm is a right to all citizens who have passed the firearm exam. However many murders committed with a firearm are done by those without licenses.
(2) This bill is to propose that citizens are unable to access firearms without obtaining a legal license. If a citizen is found to be in possession of a firearm, without a license will receive punishment (section 3)
(3) If a person is to supply a gun to a non licensed entity they shall also receive punishment (section 3).
(a) This does not apply to businesses if the business puts up a sign warning non licenced entities to not purchase a gun. The sign must say something like “To purchase a firearm, you must have a license”. Multiple signs if necessary.

3 - Punishment
(1) To illegally own a firearm will cause you to lose that firearm. You will also be fined $100 for first offence, $200 for second and $300 for third (continues to 4th at $300 etc).
(2) To supply a firearm to a non licensed entity you will be fined $100, as well as lose your license. Read section 2 part 3 ‘a’ for businesses.
