CONGRESS OF THE
COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT
A BILL TO
AMEND THE REMUNERATION ACT IN ORDER TO PAY JUDICIAL OFFICERS IN A FAIR MANNER
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1. Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Fair Wages For JOs Act’
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative Stanley582 and Judge Multiman155.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative Spyders_Crypt and Senator xRsp_.
(5) This Act amends the following acts:
(a) Remuneration Act
2. Reasons and Intent
(1) Judicial Officers are not currently paid in a fair manner due to the three day cap on payment during recess
(2) This act would rectify the payment cap and pay Judicial Officers in a fair manner
PART II — AMENDMENTS
3. Amendments
(1) Section 3(2)(5) of the Remuneration Act shall be amended as follows:

(a) Issued at the following rates from the Department/Branch Budget, or as otherwise provided within executive department policy within the Executive beyond these commissions.

(b) Department Categories. Categories (A, B ,C) are assigned by the President to each Department via Executive Order. Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries accrue loading at the defined rate according to the category of their Department. These categories are assigned with consideration to required in-game activity, relative workload compared to other public service positions, leadership and institutional responsibilities, necessary skills, and the level of public scrutiny that the department attracts.
