Executive Order Executive Order 31/25 - National Sport

By the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution, I, juniperfig, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do hereby declare the following under this Executive Order:

Whereas the citizens of Redmont have long demonstrated a passion for athletic competition, and
Whereas the fast pace, skill, and teamwork of hockey embodies the spirit and resilience of the Commonwealth, and
Whereas recognizing a national sport will promote unity and recreational enjoyment across all Redmont:

§ 1. NATIONAL SPORT DESIGNATION
1. Hockey is hereby declared the official national sport of the Commonwealth of Redmont.
2. All Redmont citizens are encouraged to engage with, support, and celebrate hockey at all levels, from amateur to professional.
3. The Department of Public Affairs shall take any steps necessary to promote the growth and accessibility of hockey throughout Redmont.

§ 2. ENACTMENT
1. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
2. All departments are encouraged to celebrate this designation in a manner consistent with their missions.
