Executive Order 18/26 - A Clean Slate on Murder Charges

By the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution
I, Technofied, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do declare the following under this Executive Order:

Whereas, the President is vested with the power to grant pardons, providing clemency on criminal charges.
Whereas, it had been my intention to issue this clemency upon the Staff team's announcement of the new Homeland Security plugin, however as the timing of its launch remains unknown, I see no reason to delay forgiveness that is owed now.
Whereas, I believe in equal forgiveness that does not discriminate, and murder is a charge widely incurred across the Commonwealth, whether by accident or by intent.
Whereas, such a charge can hinder a citizen's employment opportunities long after they have reformed, and clemency restores their ability to participate fully in the Commonwealth.

Section 1. Scope
1. This Order applies only to the offence of murder.
2. A pardon under this Order overturns the relevant murder charge and directs the removal of any associated wanted points and records.

Section 2. Clemency
1. All murder charges arising from acts committed more than 30 (thirty) days prior to the signage of this Executive Order are hereby pardoned.
2. The Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security shall action this clemency promptly upon signage, removing the associated charges, wanted points, and records.

Section 3. Enactment
1. This Executive Order applies immediately upon its signage.
Technofied
President of the Commonwealth of Redmont
THE BROWN HOUSE,
June 14, 2026.
