Establish the Role and Compensation Scheme of Event Coordinators​

BE IT ENACTED by the Mayor and Council of Aventura:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Event Coordinator Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) To foster town engagement and preserve Aventura’s unique fishing, art, and tourism culture through regular community events.
(2) To establish clear administrative authority, appointment standards, and fair compensation structures for Event Coordinators working within the Town of Aventura.

3 - Appointment and Authority
(1) Event Coordinators shall operate under the oversight of the Office of Community.
(2) The Head of Community shall hold the authority to hire, oversee, and fire Event Coordinators.
(3) Event Coordinators shall be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing town events to ensure Aventura remains an active and engaging community.

4 - Host Limits and Exceptions
(1) An event may have a maximum of three (3) designated Event Hosts eligible for pay per event without explicit prior permission.
(2) Hosting an event with more than three (3) hosts requires the explicit permission of Head of Community

5 - Compensation Scheme
(1) Base Payment Brackets (X) per event are established based on total verified player attendance:
(a) Under 5 players: $5,000
(b) 5 to 9 players: $7,000
(c) 10 to 19 players: $9,000
(d) 20 or more players: $10,000

(2) Solo Host Compensation:
(a) If an event is hosted by a single Event Coordinator, they shall receive the full flat rate corresponding to the earned Base Payment Bracket (X).

(3) Co-Host Compensation:
(a) If an event is hosted by more than one Event Coordinator and reaches five (5) or more players, the total event payout shall be calculated as:

Total Payout = X * Number of Hosts * 0.75
(b) The total payout calculated in subsection (a) shall be divided equally among all designated co-hosts, resulting in an individual payout calculated as:

Individual Payout = (X * Number of Hosts * 0.75) / Number of Hosts

(c) As an exception to subsections (a) and (b), if an event achieves an attendance of fewer than five (5) players, the base payment of $5,000 shall be split equally among all co-hosts
