Amend Electoral Proces​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Electoral Process Amendment Act 2020”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) There’s a general information about the electoral campaign process. The aim of this bill is to make it more precise.

3 - Electoral Campaign Process Changes:
(1) 1st Day of electoral month
(a) The elections are announced.
(b) Parties and independents will have 1 day to make primaries and to decide the candidates that are going to run.
(2) 2nd Day of electoral month
(a) After the primaries period has finished, candidates must reply to a candidates thread that will be created with “I, <username>, declare that I will be contesting a seat for Congress.”
(b) Then, a period to prepare the campaign will start and will last for 2 days.
(3) 4th Day of electoral month
(a) When the campaign preparation period has finished, the campaign period will begin and will last until the day before of the elections period.
(b) There will be graphic and radio advertisements, debates and interviews.
(c) The DPA will conduct an official debate.
