What position are you applying for? Compliance Officer

Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? I would like to apply to become a Compliance Officer so that I can help our relatively small department help audit and hold accountable Financial Institutions and registered businesses. I've briefly served as the Inspector General of the Federal Reserve, and the Head of Commerce of Aventura. In the former I oversaw the conduct of the Federal Reserve, but as my tenure was so brief I didn't conduct much work but it gave me a stepping stone, whereas in the latter I served for around 2 months and conducted internal audit of Aventura's spending and income, holding fellow councillors and the Mayor accountable and documenting our transactions. I have also ran a business, Trident, which whilst not registered, I've learned how to use commands such as /democracybusiness transactions, to oversee the income and expenditure of a business, meaning I can use these commands with permissions to validate and check businesses to make sure that their reported statements match actual transactions occured in-game. I have also helped the Department of Education with their Accounting exam questions in their recent exam audit.

I have a background in Economics, see additional information for further details, and I can work well with spreadsheets.

I have a good background with teamworking and helping with other departments, and am willing to learn the ins and outs of the Compliance role!
