Defend the Rights of Players that have a Congressional Vote of No Confidence

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as ”The Defense of Players with No Confidence Accusations Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) It is unfair to judge a player on whether they should be removed from their position without giving them a chance to defend themselves. It is possible that there is a very important reason for why the player was making the decisions they were.
(2) Players are also not required to be informed about a Motion of No Confidence against them without this Act, and it is important that they are informed so they can attempt to do a better job in their position should the motion fail.

3 - Change
(1) Before the Speaker announces the existence of a Motion of No Confidence to congress, they will send a discord message to the player in which the motion refers to, informing them of its existence and allowing them to reply to the message in defense of themselves. The Speaker will then copy the player’s defense into the DC channel #congressional-announcements, while at the same time officially announcing the motion there as well, and will allow congress to vote on it. If the player does not reply with a defense within 12 hours of being notified, the Speaker will announce the motion with the inclusion of the line “(player) has not provided a defense.”
(a) If the player in which the motion is targeted at does not have discord, the Speaker will instead send in-game mail to them, with the player having 12 hours to send mail back as their defense.
