Codify the DEC’s ability to provide and enforce grants​

The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “DEC Grants Are Cool Act”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative Kitje_Katje_NL
(4) This Bill was cosponsored by Representative A__C
(5) This Bill was written in collaboration with Deadwax

2 - Reasons
(1) Grants are provided by the DEC and are not codified in law. There is currently no way to prove a player used their grant for its intended purposes and therefore there are no repercussions to players who do not use the grant for the intended purpose.
(2) This bill will codify the DEC’s ability to provide grants and also provide repercussions for players who do not use the grants for the intended purposes.

3 – Terms
(1) DEC has the ability to grant up to $15,000 per person for various different grants which will be decided by DEC policy.
(2) Players who receive the grant must provide proof that the grant was used correctly via the business portal. This can be done via screenshots of purchases.
(3) Players who the DEC deems have not provided the necessary proof of correct usage of the grant will have the grant revoked and can be charged with Fraud.

I encourage my colleagues to vote this bill down as this is not amending the correct Act of Congress.
