Reform Wild Regions

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Corporate Wild Area Protections Act” or as the “Corporate WAP Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative Icypenguin79.

2 - Reasons

(1) Certified freak, 7 days a week. Wild area protections need another tweak.
(2) Business threads are condensed and less forum nodes are needed to achieve Corporate WAP.

3- Terms

(1) The following is added to section 1 of the Third WAP Act:
(b) Corporate wild regions
(i) Each registered company is eligible to request up to one region, up to 4096 blocks in area, at $10 per block.
(ii) Unless both parties consent, two regions require a buffer space of 20 blocks. No corporate wild regions may be merged or sold to other players or corporations.
(iii) Wild regions must be at least 250 blocks from the edge of wild warps, and at least 500 blocks away from towns and cities.
(iv) Each registered company will have to apply to the DEC to buy a region using the format below under their Business thread.

- What do you plan on using your region for?
(v) The DEC is entitled to reject any application where the use case is doable in a town.
(vi) The region’s name shall be “<Company Name>rg”.
(vii) If the company is deregistered, the wild region is removed and 50% of the original purchase price is refunded.
