Amend the Constitution

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Congressional Expansion Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted at the next general election.

2 - Reasons
(1) There has been a significant amount of interest in politics recently which can be shown through the almost 2 fold increase in voters between the May and March elections.
(2) 33 candidates ran for 11 seats in the House of Representatives.
(3) 8 candidates ran for 3 seats in the Senate

3 - House of Representatives
Subsection a changes to subsection b:
a. The House of Representatives shall consist of 11 citizens, referred to as Representatives (Abbreviated Rep.) who are elected for 2 month terms.
b. The House of Representatives shall consist of 15 citizens, referred to as Representatives (Abbreviated Rep.) who are elected for 2 month terms.

3 - Senate
Subsection a changes to subsection b:
a. The Senate shall consist of 6 citizens, referred to as Senators (Abbreviated Sen.) who are elected for 4 month terms. The Senate acts as the house of review to the House of Representatives and cannot originate any bills.
b. The Senate shall consist of 8 citizens, referred to as Senators (Abbreviated Sen.) who are elected for 4 month terms. The Senate acts as the house of review to the House of Representatives and cannot originate any bills.
 
This bill has been granted assent and is hereby signed into law.​
