RESOLUTION
To
Provide for a Local Representative and Planning Advisory Body.
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:
1 - Establish a City of Hamilton Council
A City council is needed for the City of Hamilton. This council would be delegated by-laws and would provide analysis and recommendations to the Administration to support the development of Hamilton City.
Representation - A local advisory body allows players greater local representation and provides players a stepping stone into politics.
By-laws
- City Constitution.
- Council elections
- Council formation (headed by Mayor)
- Advise on Plot Pricing. (Actioned by staff).
- Advise on Urban Renewal Projects.
- Organise City Events with the DPA.
City Planning - A City Council would act in the role of the popular suggestion of a city planner, advising the Commonwealth Government, rather than having a binding effect on decisions.
Advisory - This way constructors are free to remain creative with their work.
2 - Department of State
The council would be facilitated by the Department of State in the same fashion as regular town councils.
