A
RESOLUTION
TO

Create a City Council of Reveille

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:

1 - Short Title
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the 'City Council 2.0 Act'.
(2) This Resolution has been authored by Rep. TheReal42Person.
(3) This Resolution has been co-sponsored by Rep. 1950Minecrafter.

2 - Establish a City of Reveille Council
A City council is needed for the City of Reveille. This council would be delegated by-laws and would provide analysis and recommendations to the Administration to support the development of Reveille City.

Representation - A local advisory body allows players greater local representation and provides players a stepping stone into politics.

By-laws
- City Constitution
- Council elections
- Council formation (headed by Mayor)
- Advise on Plot Pricing (actioned by staff)
- Advise on Urban Renewal Projects
- Organize City Events with the DPA

City Planning - A City Council would act in the role of the popular suggestion of a city planner, advising the Commonwealth Government, rather than having a binding effect on decisions.

Advisory - This way constructors are free to remain creative with their work.

3 - Department of State
(1) The council would be facilitated by the Department of State in the same fashion as regular town councils.

4 - Transition Council
(1) There shall be a transition council of four members until a City Constitution is established.
(a) The Department of State shall facilitate these elections.
(b) The Mayor and Deputy Mayor shall also be elected.

Original Bill written by xEndeavour, 2021.
