PROVIDE PRIVATE EQUITABLE RELIEF REGARDING PLOT C006

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I: PRELIMINARIES

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the "C006 Restitution Act".

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Deputy Speaker MJL.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Musclebound.

2 - Reasons and Intent

(1) This is a private bill meant to provide relief to a specific named individual (its author) where other means have failed.

(2) According to Part I, Section 2(7) of the Constitution: "Congress may pass any law necessary and proper to carry out its enumerated powers, enabling Congress to address issues not specifically mentioned in the Constitution."

(3) In ZxRiptide, Co-Plaintiff Pepecuu, and Co-Plaintiff Jakkuwu v. MasterCaelen and Co-Defendant MJL [2026] FCR 21, the Federal Court erred in its refusal to grant MJL_ plot c006.

(4) Since a deported player is unable to disperse their assets, it normally reverts back into becoming property of the Commonwealth. This is despite any current occupancy that may or may not exist as is the case for MJL_ in plot c006.

(5) MJL_ currently uses the plot to provide free and low cost housing to new players.

PART II: PROVISIONS

3 - Provisions

(1) Upon the conclusion of Staff's review of ZxRiptide, Co-Plaintiff Pepecuu, and Co-Plaintiff Jakkuwu v. MasterCaelen and Co-Defendant MJL [2026] FCR 21, Plot c006 the DCT may conduct a special one-time eviction proceeding immediately despite any law to the contrary.

(2) Following the eviction of its current owner, MJL_ shall be offered by the DCT the chance to purchase the plot at ten times its starting bid with no levies applied where they otherwise would. If accepted, the plot shall be transferred to MJL_. Otherwise, the plot shall be dispersed under normal government auction procedures.

4 - Classification

(1) Upon passage, this act shall be marked redundant and placed in the Archive category or its successor as the case may be. This bill shall be repealed six months after its passage.
