BILL
TO
Amend the Universal Basic Income Act to not waste Government funds; or, provide provisions for a Basic Income for the Citizens of Redmont
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Basic Income Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by Representative Icypenguin79, based off of Representative hugebob23456’s Universal Basic Income Act.
2 - Reasons
(1) Players with a balance of over $5000 should not receive BI as they already have plenty of money.
3 - Terms
(1) If the Universal Basic Income Act passes, section4 takes effect immediately.
(2) Otherwise, section 5 takes effect immediately.
4 - Amending the Universal Basic Income Act
(1) Append (4) Any player with a balance over $5000 shall not receive any funds based on section 2 subsection 1 of this bill.
5 - Basic Income
(1) For every 15 minutes of playtime, every player shall be granted $7 from the DCGovernment balance. This will not stack with other Government salaries.
(2) Any player with a balance of over $5000 shall not receive any funds based on section 5 subsection 1 of this bill.
(3) Any playtime accumulated before the passage of this bill will not result in the player receiving any funds based on subsection 1 of section 2 of this bill.
(4) The terms of this bill shall automatically expire 1 month after its passage.
