What problem does your business solve and what makes you different from competitors? Skyline Retail is a new relatively startup company with the potential to change the retail industry in Redmont forever. The thing that makes us different from competitors is that rather than operating as a normal store, Skyline will have its very own franchise where 3rd parties will be able to open and operate their own Skyline Retail locations in return for paying a small cut of profits that the store makes. Skyline will offer the franchisees a plot with a building on it to operate these stores. Rather than harming other companies and fighting for the top, Skyline provides players (franchisees) with a new job that has the potential to earn them a lot of money, whilst teaching them valuable lessons in business.

How do you plan to generate revenue to scale up your business and is your long-term vision for the company? Skyline Retail plans to generate revenue through taking cut from franchisee profits. In the long term, we plan to employ players of all different kinds and expand our stores to cater to all different types of people in Redmont. Our vision is truly to improve the state of the retail market and we have been planning exactly how to do it. Skyline Retail is the future of retail, we want to set a prime example of what a retail business can be for other businesses as well, to set a gold standard/role model for the industry as a whole.

What is you and your team's experience and expertise? Skyline Retail has an excellent team of players. I worked on other retail projects before and operated a company called Robert's for a while. I also have done multiple types of distribution services and is currently a supply manager. Skyline Retail also hires employees with only a growth mindset in mind and has shown proficiency in starting up a store and has the desire to improve.

How will you use the grant funds, and what impact do you expect them to have on your business? Skyline Retail will use the grant funds as a foundation for the company's growth. We will purchase a piece of real estate to utilize as our first store. We will also use excess grant funds to cover operational expenses as well as providing supplies for these franchisees. We have already budgeted the cash to use in our operations.
