To

Amend the Alcoholic Substance Abuse Act

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'ASAA Amendment Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) The Act has been co-sponsored by: Southray

2 - Reasons
(1) This Act is outdated
(2) new brews need to be added
3 - Sections as needed

Change

(1) The following drinks are defined as “Illicit Alcoholic Substances”:
a. ‘Poitín’
b. ‘Firewater’
c. ‘Potato Moonshine’
d. ‘Moonshine Spirits’
e. Any additional alcoholic substances that have been declared as a public health threat, as noted in subsection 2.
(2) The Department of Health may, in pursuit of public health, formally declare any additional drinks to be considered Illicit Alcoholic Substances provided they follow the provisions below:
a. Any declaration naming a substance to be illicit under this act must be done with the signature of the Health Secretary in a government announcement.
b. The ban on such a brew would not take effect until a week after such declaration.
c. The newly banned substance must be edited into the law in the section below for clarity.

(1)The following drinks are defined as “Illicit Alcoholic Substances”:
a. ‘Poitín’
b. ‘Firewater’
c. ‘Potato Moonshine’
d. ‘Moonshine Spirits’
e. ’Carrot Moonshine’
F. ‘Glow Berry Moonshine’
G. ‘Sweet berry moonshine’
h .Any additional alcoholic substances that have been declared as a public health threat, as noted in subsection 2.
(2) The Department of Health may, in pursuit of public health, formally declare any additional drinks to be considered Illicit Alcoholic Substances provided they follow the provisions below:
a. Any declaration naming a substance to be illicit under this act must be done with the signature of the Health Secretary in a government announcement.
b. The ban on such a brew would not take effect until a week after such declaration.
c. The newly banned substance must be edited into the law in the section below for clarity.

d. Any new substances containing the word "moonshine" shall be illegal, unless otherwise declared by the Secretary of Health, in a formal announcement, that it is not.
