What problem does your business solve and what makes you different from competitors? At Pressler, Felt & Warshaw, LLP, not only are we a law firm but we also a debt collection agency, which is our primary thing and we are one of the only (i think) business who run a debt collection agency. We purchase debt from banks, players and we collect that debt from the debtor and if they do not pay we sue them. Not only that we are taking banks out of debt from purchasing debt but we are also making a profit while we are at it.
How do you plan to generate revenue to scale up your business and is your long-term vision for the company? At the moment we purchase debt at a lower amount, that is fair for us and the person we are buying from. Which makes them have a profit and also us. Depending on the agreement that was signed, we honor that agreement which include interest rates, late fees, penalties which is how we get our money.
What is you and your team's experience and expertise? I have experience in debt collection in real life. I worked for a debt collection for about 1-2 months in real life, which was a temporarily job so I believe that I can run my own debt collection agency here in redmont.
How will you use the grant funds, and what impact do you expect them to have on your business? I will use this grant to purchase some more debt, pay my current employees more, expand on marketing, advertising.
