Amend the Animal & Pet Offences Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
This Act may be cited as the 'Animal Overcrowding Amendment Act'.
This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
This Act has been co-authored by Rep. Pepecuu.

2 - Reasons
(1) New animals have been added into Redmont through additions to Minecraft.

3 - Amendments
(1) §4.7 of the Animals & Pet Offences Act shall be amended as follows:

(7) Animal Overcrowding
(i) Classification: Summary Criminal Offense
The act of not giving an animal the space they require. Cows, sheep, and pigs require a minimum of four blocks of floor space each. Horses, camels and llamas require a minimum of six floor blocks of space each. Chickens and Frogs require a minimum of two blocks of floor space each. Any other animals not listed within this offence require a minimum of 4 blocks of floor space each. Upon discovery of an instance of animal overcrowding, the offender will be notified by in-game mail and have 48 hours from the time of the mail being sent to rectify by adding additional space within the animal(s) confined area to be in line with the amount of space as previously defined. This law applies to all plots.

1st Offense: $100 fine per animal + animal(s) taken to shelter by the DOI
Additional Offenses: $350 fine per animal+ animal(s) taken to shelter by the DOI + plot eviction
