Amend the Revised Omnibus Agenda Act To Ensure That #news Companies Tell The Government Of Oakridge That They Wrote An Article After They Write It And For Other Purposes​

The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'An Amendment To The Revised Omnibus Agenda Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
(1) To ensure that news companies only submit notifications to the Commerce Office of articles that they wrote an article after posting it in the #news channel.
(2) To amend the Revised Omnibus Agenda Act

3 - Amendments To The Revised Omnibus Agenda Act
Section 6 - #news Payments of the Revised Omnibus Agenda Act is amended as followss:
(1) The Office of Commerce is in charge of administering payments for articles posted in the Oakridge discord's #news channel.
(2) Any article posted there is to be sent to the Office of Commerce, who may determine if it should get the payment.
(a) This may primarily be determined based on relevance to Oakridge, and quality.
(3) The payment is to be up to $3000 per article (Type A), and up to 50% of payment to the articles author(s) by the news company (Type B).
(a) This is to be capped at $30000 for Type A and $20000 for Type B for any given news company, or subsidiary in any given month.
(4) The news company must reasonably have communicated a place, or person it can be contacted by, or the DB.
(a) This can only be done by creating a ticket with the Office of Commerce within the Oakridge Discord. This can be done via the authorship being noted in the article, reasonably communicating it via an advertisement channel, or contacting the Office of Commerce
(b) The communication must occur within 7 days of posting the article, if the communication does not occur within 7 days, the Office of Commerce may reject payment for this reason.
(5) This is not a right, and should not be an expected feature of posting an article in #news.
