Amend the REST Act

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1-Short Title and Enactment
(1) This act may be cited as the Amend the Incremental Resistance Act
(2) This Act shall be enacted upon signage
(3) The Act has been Co Sponsored by: Senator black_ven0m

2- Reasons
(1) Officers have to wait 15 minutes before charging someone with resisting arrest and this can prove to be annoying on the officers part as they now have to keep track of the time
(2) A $60 dollar fine to a career criminal is nothing and will continue to waste up to an hour of an officer's time because it only costs them less than $400.

3- Enactments
(1) Change the following from:
"Per Offense: $60 fine plus an additional $60 for every 15 minutes in which arrest was resisted, capped at $750
To
“Per Offense: $50 fine plus an additional $50 for every 5 minutes in which arrest was resisted, capped at $1000.
