2. Reasons and Intent

(1) Section 6(2) of the Borrowing Authority Act authorizes Congress to set the Borrowing Ceiling.

(2) Musclebound say print money mean better economy, so we raise debt limit so Musclebound can hit big red print button.

(3) The Commonwealth remains in an excellent fiscal position.

(4) With an expected new wave of players coming soon (Trolligarch), the government should prepare accordingly.

PART II — TERMS

3. Borrowing Ceiling

(1) In line with Section 6(2) of the Borrowing Authority Act, Congress hereby sets the Borrowing Ceiling at $500,000,000.

:nay: - I can't support this massive increase just because "musclebound says so", I don't think you should either. we need real data so if musclebound wants to provide a writeup that actually demonstrates the methodology i would consider voting yea if I agree with it and this was proposed again

:nay: - We have used 55m of the 210m ceiling, we have plenty of room.
We are in a surplus right now (mainly because prunes), in the last 30 days we made 42M, the money supply is shrinking too.

We need to borrow and figure how to spend it (I prefer mineral reserve, DoI is working on it :D), but we have plenty of room right now, this is not needed and can be bad for next congress.
We have 40m to spend rn before borrowing at all too so, let's first let the DoI thing.
