This is the official election post for the 24th Town Council elections for the town of Oakridge.

Council positions up for election:

Head of Commerce
Head of Urban Development
Head of Residence
Head of Event Coordination
Town Attorney General


The following requirements must be met for all positions:
- Is an Oakridge Resident.
- Accrued 24 hours of total playtime.
- Accrued 12 hours of active playtime within the last 30 days.
- Has been 1 week since the player’s initial join date.
- May only run for one council seat.

Players seeking candidacy for the Head of an Office will reply:

"I, <username>, declare that I will be contesting a seat as the <position> as an Independent / a member of <political party>."

Nominations close in 72 hours with voting open for a total of 72 hours.

You must be a resident of the town of Oakridge in order to run and vote. To vote, you must have 6 hours of playtime in the past 30 days.

I, Plura72, declare that I will be contesting a seat as the Head of Residence as member of The Redmont Beach Party (RBP)
 
I, Talion77, declare that I will be contesting a seat in the council as the position of Head of Residence as a member of the party.
 
I, Twiscet, declare that I will be contesting a seat as the Head of Event Coordination as a member of the Redmont Beach Party.
 
I, GraprielJuice, declare that I will be contesting a seat as the Head of Commerce as a member of the Worker's Party of Redmont.
 
I, tortenwashere, declare that I will be contesting a seat as the Head of Event Coordination as a member of the party
 
I, Yeet_Boy, declare that I will be contesting a seat as Head of Urban Development as a member of the GER.

The election for the Head of Residence was mistakenly closed early and voting is being re-run for that election. Further information will follow with the transparency report for that election.

ELECTORAL TRANSPARENCY
In accordance with the Electoral Transparency Act, the Department of State has released the following information regarding this election:

juniperfig (leading) and A__C) counted the election results.

Both cases, no documents or external tools were used, votes were hand-counted by the EO's.

Attached are the anonymized results for the above elections.

ELECTORAL TRANSPARENCY
The attached PDF is the votes of the prior Head of Residence election, which was mistakenly closed early at the same time as the Aventuran Election.

The Spreadsheet additionally contains one (1) vote that was done in a brief period between the discovery of error and opening of the polls, and the decision to close the polls and rerun the election for electoral integrity.

Voter id's are anonymized and timestamps are removed.

The DOS had forgotten to post the new results, rather only posting the pre-restart votes. The attached file is the anonymized votes for this election.

Votes were counted by (frmr) Deputy Secretary of State Juniperfig and Electoral Officer Eenza.
