What position are you applying for? Compliance Officer

Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? I think I am best suited for this position because of my knowledge about economics and compliances,
I've previously worked with various banks and other big organisations in managing their finances and maintaining the compliances, this gives me an edge over other applicants.
I am confident and eager to learn more and participate actively in the process of making DC the best economy and for that, we need to have more regulatory checks on businesses to prevent frauds.

Additional Information: I was a compliance officer previously in December but went inactive for 2 months so got my job removed.
But now I am back and I want to reapply for the post

@.MgChamp2339 Sorry for the late response. We are under the impression that you do accounting for some banks. If this is true, please state the banks that you do accounting for and your steps to seperate your business from the work in the DOC

Yes, I do accounting for some banks

  • Vanguard : We have recently made an automated google sheet for their accounting. Point to be noted is that it was a contract for only preparation of an automated sheet and that contract has been completed.
  • Volt : We have recently signed a contract to be external accountants of Volt and our duty is to keep their logs updated

So in conclusion I would like to say that Volt is the only ongoing contract we have.

Steps to keep my business separate from DOC
  • I myself will not be actively engaged in the record keeping of volt and we have hired an intern for that purpose.
  • In future as well, we plan to hire more staff for the services to be rendered to the bank.
  • I will only be engaged in training individuals who would be working on behalf of our firm.
