Charge for Rental Unit Setup Fee​

The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Rental Unit Setup Act.”
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Bill was authored by Representative TheDeadwax.
(4) This Bill was cosponsored by Representative Wetc.

2 - Reasons
(1) The Government needs more forms of income to help with the deficit. This act will provide a small bump to government income while tapping into a new market that has been untapped.
(2) Staff put in a lot of work to create rental regions for players and players should have to pay for the effort.


3 – Terms
(1) When a player is wanting to create a rental unit they will pay a fee of $25 per unit setup.
(2) This includes all types of rental regions.
(3) This fee will only be applied once for the unit setup; any modifications to the region will be free.
(4) This fee will be completed by staff who are setting up the rental regions with the /fine command.
(5) Shulker regions will be exempt from this fee.

Amend the Charge for Rental Unit Setup Fee Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Rental Fee Clarification Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act is authored by Milqy.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by: Rep. Wetc.

2 - Reason
(1) To give the towns an exemption from this fee. This amendment will help the towns from having to spend thousands on regions.

3 - Add on 2 sections
(6) Anvil regions will be exempt from this fee.
(7) Towns will be exempt from paying this fee, as long as they are for the town, and processed by the mayor/deputy mayor of the town.
