Repealed Public Defender Utilization Act

To
Amend the Modern Legal Board Act

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:​

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Public Defender Utilization Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act was authored by Representative Mhadsher101.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by Representative Mr_SeaGuy.
(5) This Act was requested by the Redmont Bar Association.

2 - Reasons
(1) Public defenders are only called upon in niche circumstances, and this bill expands when they are to be called.

3 - Amendments
10 - The Public Defender Program
(3) Any case that reverts to a default judgement, where the defendant is inactive, the presiding Judge may request a public defender to represent the Defendant.
(3) The presiding judicial official must request a public defender to represent the defendant if any of the following circumstances are met:

• The case reverts to a default judgment.
• The defendant does not have a forums account.
• The defendant is legally inactive (less than 6 hours of playtime per month).

The defendant may choose to refuse a public defender
