BILL
TO
Revive the Gambling Industry by amending the Casino Regulations Act

The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
  1. This Act may be cited as the “LDV Free Gambling Businesses Act” or the “LDV FBG Act”
  2. This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
  3. This Bill was authored by Mayor LilDigiVert
  4. This Bill was co-sponsored by Sen. Tekkovvs

2 - Reasons

Look, they'd rather run up on me than towards their goals
My dawgs still hit Aventura when it's 20 below
Who you think runnin' this show?
You saw it in me at 20 years old
The lingo start to sound like we talkin' in code
I got a pure soul, I don't do the hate
You don't worry 'bout fittin' in when you custom made
Me and Icy used to plot on how to make a change
Now me and Kobe doin' shots the night before the game
Still drop 40 with liquor in my system
Numbers goin' unlisted just to create some distance
I might see you on and off but I'll never switch ya
Politicians quick to double cross like both of us Christian
Lamborghini got me feelin' like I'm Christian Bale
And I never bend my morals for the ticket sales
Tippin' scales, bars heavy like triple XL
I never tag no one in, I'd rather get you myself

3 - Unofficial Reasons

  1. This is unrealistic; Casinos in real life don’t display their odds.
  2. This is unnecessary government intervention in business.
  3. If a casino had horrible odds, customers simply would not shop there. It should be the business’ choice to display odds.

4 - Terms

Remove the following from the Casino Regulations Act:

Any kind of gambling companies must publicly display the odds of winning on each machine via a sign. Odds being in the format Chance to win:Chance to lose (example 3:6 for a 3/9 chance to win).

Nay - As a former casino owner, this is a relatively easy thing to implement that keeps businesses from committing fraud.
