Amend the Constitution​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Inactive Voting Amendment"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Purpose
(1) This amendment was requested by Electoral Officers and members of the DOS.
(2) The purpose of this amendment is to prevent inactive and uninvolved players from voting in our elections. This does not take away rights, as a player simply has to join the server at least only once within a month in order to vote.

3 - Amendments
(1) Section 4, Rights & Freedoms, shall change "The right to vote in elections." to "The right to vote in elections, provided the player has been online within 1 month as the votes are counted."

NAY - While I understand the spirit I do not believe it is really even enforceable and could even be used for voter suppression.

This bill has been granted assent and may now be put to a referendum by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.​
