What position are you applying for? Compliance Officer

Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? When I first joined DC I established Floor-Financial an accounting association to guide new accountants into the field, that organization still exists but is inactive due to lack of jobs for accountants several months ago. As a part of Floor-Financial's goals for public transparency in financial records I occasionally post audits of government expenditures and compare them with assigned appropriations for the previous month for analysis on government spending. I do both a lot of work with data in sheets, as well as programming for working with data. I think I'm pretty well experienced in working with data and financials in particular. I also currently have no ties to direct businesses and am completely divested financially from any existing institutions.

Additional Information: If my applications for government positions are rejected I will likely move forward with accepting a small audit job with GlobalCenter Corporation, since they approached me I have yet to finalize any kind of employment or business relationship with them yet in case it is a potential concern, as my preference would be with the government for more stable employment.

I am also simultaneously applying to a similar position with a focus on audit and advisement of departments for the FRB which depending on how that goes may potentially require me to resign at a later date. I have not heard back on that application so that remains to be in up in the air currently but something to potentially note.

Additional Skills: Python, Sheets, software engineering in general, taken courses on working generally with data which applies well to financial record-keeping and searching for discrepancies with accounting.
