BILL To
Establish Player Involvement in the Electoral Process.​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “End's Electoral Officer Act December 2020”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by End.

2 - Reasons
(1) Currently there is no player involvement in the facilitation of elections, rather it is the owners’ responsibility.

3 - Electoral Officers
(1) There will be a job title established under the Department of State entitled ‘Electoral Officer’.
(2) The Department of State will establish and oversee the patronage of Electoral Officers.
(3) Electoral Officers are accountable to the Secretary of State.

4 - Duties of an Electoral Officer
(1) Facilitating the electoral process where it is constitutionally mandated.
(2) Facilitating the electoral process for for special elections where requested by a Presiding Officer or the President.
(3) Advising the Department of State, the wider government, and the general public on the electoral process as a subject matter expert.

5 - Facilitation of the Electoral Process
(1) The electoral officers are responsible for;
1. Posting the Election Post.
2. Advertising the Election.
3. Opening the Polls.
4. Ensuring that polls are closed on-time.
5. Auditing and reporting potentially fraudulent votes.
6. Holding run-offs in the instance of suspicious votes affecting the final results.
7. Informing the State Secretary of the election result, who will then confirm the votes with the Senior Administration Team.​

6 - Electoral and Employee Protection
(1) The executive cannot impose it’s will or interfere with lawful requirements of the Electoral Officer to facilitate an election.
(2) The executive cannot impose it’s will or interfere with lawful requests of the Electoral Officer to facilitate an election.
(3) Any person interfering with an election is guilty of electoral fraud.

Clarify Electoral Powers and Amend the Electoral Officer Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the "Electoral Clarification Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Purpose
(1) The purpose of this act is to clarify supposed ambiguity in the Electoral Officer Act.
(2) This bill was made after a fellow Representative issued concern over its legality.

3 - Amendments
(1) Hereby adds to Section 5 of the End's Electoral Officer Act under the responsibilities of the electoral officers; "Auditing and reporting potentially fraudulent votes."
(2) Hereby adds to Section 5 of the End's Electoral Officer Act under the responsibilities of the electoral officers; "Holding run-offs in the instance of suspicious votes affecting the final results."
