A
BILL
To

Amend the Constitution

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives and Senators in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Congressional Supremacy Amendment”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by President hugebob23456

2 - Reasons
(1) The President represents the majority, while the Congress represents all. The institutions that prop up an all powerful executive are a relic from the past, it is time for us to accept that the Congress serves the interests of the public to an extent that the Executive simply cannot match.

3 - Terms
(1) The clause “Congress cannot give themselves power over other branches of Government nor can they take power away from them.” is removed.

This bill has been granted assent and shall be signed into law pending a majority approval vote via public referendum to be started by the Speaker of the House.
