A
BILL
To
Amend the Bank Robbery Act

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “A Cool Bank Robbery Robbery Amendment Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This bill was authored by Representative A__C.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by Representative xEndeavour.

2 - Reasons
(1) It is currently too hard to prove that someone actually robbed the bank and is not just trespassing- after all, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and technically it can be argued that a person was just trespassing if there is no proof that they are breaking the gold blocks inside the bank- i.e. a screenshot while they are physically breaking it- which is nearly impossible to get considering people are often invisible and screenshotting is not that simple.
(2) A person trespassing inside the bank most likely has the intent to rob it.
(3) The change from the previous version is that they can’t be charged for robbery when the vault door is closed and they are outside the bank.

3 - Amendment
(1) Amends the Bank Robbery Act
From:
The act or instance of stealing from a bank.
Per offence: $1000 fine + 10 minutes Jail

To:
A person who is found inside the bank vault will be charged as follows:
Per Offence: $1000 fine and 10 minutes jail time

Note: This overrides Bank Trespassing
