Hello everyone,
I cannot believe I’m writing this message right now. It honestly feels surreal, after all this time, to say goodbye to all of you.
I had such an amazing time here on Democracy Craft, and it was only thanks to the wonderful people I’ve met, who made this an incredible journey for me. Being here wasn’t just playing on a random Minecraft server, it was different. It was real.
When I say this community has truly been one of the best things that has ever happened to me, I’m not lying. But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
I remember the first time I’ve played on DC, not really knowing what to do. I remember walking hazily through Hamilton, a city I grew to love. I remember setting up my very first shop, and selling all the rubbish I could find just to make some money.
How could I forget the day I became a Doctor? That really changed me on the server, even though it might sound a little weird. Becoming a Doctor was what truly made me grow on DC, stepping up to become what I became over the following months.
Not so long after becoming a Doctor, I applied to become a Police Officer and got accepted. That was my very first Government job, and I loved every single moment of it. I applied to become a Medical Specialist and a Ranger not so long after. One good decision after another. I’ll cherish these moments forever, truly.
I was also appointed as Secretary of Health, and it had been an incredible experience. Running a whole Department was amazing, I’ve had so much fun writing announcements and working on the Hospitals in-game. Having the possibility to interact with so many different people was just incredible. Loved every moment of it.
And then it happened, I finally applied to become a Staff Member. I was initially told by Consumer, then later by Human, Teun, Marty and Tommy. They all believed I would have done a great job as a Moderator, and pushed me into applying. I couldn’t thank them enough. Being a part of the Staff team was not just amazing, it was the best experience I’ve had on the server. In this regard, I also want to specifically thank Tech and End for trusting me and accepting my application. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I’ll be honest, I’m glad I had the opportunity to experience such an amazing journey with you all. Filled with great memories and friendship, hard work behind all of my achieved goals and always a good laugh.
Believe it or not, a Minecraft server had such a strong impact on me and I won’t forget it, ever. And that, only thanks to its wonderful and beautiful community.
I’d like to especially thank, of course, Tech and End, but also Teun, Human, Derpy, Marty, Tommy, Kycnn, Avelanie, Birb, Sleepy, Poison, Serge, Demon, Digi, Azdray, Consumer, Muffins, Velve, FTG, Milqy, Dead and Snow and so on.
I could continue for hours.
Many people that I’d like to mention already left the server before I did, but it doesn’t matter. Thank you everybody, for everything.
I won’t be leaving the server completely, but I won’t be as active. You might not see me online for a month or more, that’s why I’ve decided to leave an official letter to all of you here.
Don’t see this as a goodbye message, I’ll still be around on Discord and in-game if I manage, too. For anything, even the dumbest thing, my dms are always open on Discord.
Also, I won’t be leaving a will right now. If so, I’ll do it privately in the future and action it myself.
